“… George Lucas’s universe as visualized by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson!” ~ Russ Cochran

“This book is a tribute to the wonderful comic art of Al Williamson. It depicts … his work on the Star Wars comic strip during the early 1980s. … a great contribution not only to the art of Star Wars but to comic art in general. I’m especially happy that we can present Al’s work in this collection, reproduced with the quality and detail that shows it best. I hope that will inspire a new generation of artists and film makers.” ~  George Lucas

The first volume of this limited edition set is numbered and signed by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson.

The three volume set with slipcase features the black & white version of the Star Wars newspaper comics from 1981 to 1984.

This archival set was printed from the original pin & ink drawings. Later, Dark Horse Books printed a full color version, Classic Star Wars, using the same sources.

The first volume includes the single frame STAR WARS SCRAPBOOK drawings. The second volume shows Al Williamson’s first concept drawings of Star Wars.

Each volume is still in the original shrink wrap. The three volumes are shrink wrapped in the original slipcase.
